Dean's List Voxbox Review from Influenster.

DISCLOSURE: I RECIEVED ALL ITEMS COURTESTY OF INFLUENSTER. HOWEVER, ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN.

I was extremely excited to recieve another box from influenster. Here is my overview/ mini review of the box.

104_6446

Airhead Bites- I have received many Airheads products from Influenster. I received Extreme bites (which is different from these) in last years Varsity Vox Box, and then again when I ended up winning the Airheads Extreme Bites Challenge. I was one of 50 people who received 5 packs of Extreme bites and a $10 itunes gift card. However, these are new and they are very good. The are not sticky like Airheads are usually but they taste just like them! Yum!!

104_6444

I love pens and these are awesome! I’m surprised with the way they erase. It’s pretty impressive. It also seems like it’s not a regular eraser, as it didn’t leave rubber shedding marks or anything. So far I like these!

104_6451

I love this color and what it stands for! It is to fight against no texting and driving. Which is what I strongly agree for. Also this color is really nice. Especially for the holidays coming up soon!

104_6445

KISS Looks So Natural Lashes- I have never tried false lashes before. I know some people are into lengthening mascaras and falsies, but I have never been uncomfortable with the length of my eyelashes, or the need to play with them. My sister loves makeup and trying different types of mascaras so I gave these to her. I have given her other KISS lashes before that she has loved so I’m sure these won’t be any different.

104_6447

Softlips Cubes in Sweet Mint- I have never tried the Softlips cubes, but I have expressed my hatred for the Softlips Peppermint Stick balm. I’m hoping my experience with this will not be the same, but I will not purchase this unless I’m 100% sure how I feel about the product. I’ve only smelled this, and I do like the scent, but I haven’t actually tried this yet.

Schick Hydro Silk Sensitive Care Razor Review

After trying just about every sensitive skin razor on the market as well as what seems like every any kind of razor I was a little skeptical about the Schick Hydro Silk Sensitive Skin razor. I have used Schick razors in the past and while they were better than a lot of the other choices they didn't amaze me.

That was until this one. I opened up my Schick Hydro Silk Sensitive skin razor kit and immediately was impressed with it. The razor head and blades are laid out well, the razor itself is made well, and feels comfortable in your hand. Then the true test came, would it shave better than others and would it be sensitive enough for my legs?

The answer is yes. I am not someone who shaves with shaving cream, because of sensitivity and I found I didn't even need it with this razor. The blades povided a smooth shave without the need of shaving cream. I also noticed that it was a quick shave. I didn't have to go over spots more than once which I have had to do with other razors in the past. There was no irritation from using this razor and I had no complaints whatsoever about any aspect of the razor itsself or how well it shaved.
Color me impressed. I have found my new go to razor!

*I did receive this product free of charge as part of participating in a word of mouth product reviewing campaign through BzzAgent.

Tone Body Wash Review

I love BzzAgent! Every now and then I get to participate in campaigns and test out products. This time I got the oppertunity to try out Tone Petal Soft Body Wash.

I can't get over how much I am enjoying Tone Body Wash, It's awesome!

There are many reasons as to why I loved this body wash first the smell. When you smell it your in heaven. It smells really good and only gets better once your showering. I only poured like nickle size on my washcloth and it made a ton of bubbles. I love that, I know that the suds aren't what make you clean but I love bubbles, I'm thinking this wash would be wonderful even for a bubble bath. It literally filled my tub floor like if I had used half the bottle, but I only used a tiny bit. Meaning this huge 18 ounce bottle will last for awhile! YAY!!

The name is Petal Soft, and it fits the name perfectly. Its very silky, it has rose oil which might be the cause of all that silkiness. It really softens and hydrates the skin, its super moisturizing and you can even feel it after your done showering as if I had put on after bath lotion. By the way my skin still kept smelling good after I got out of the shower. My roomies even asked me if they can use it too and because I am not going to share I just gave them each a coupon to buy there own.

I wouldn't change a thing its a great body wash, it has everything I look for in one. I checked out the price and trust me its a bargain compared to others that claim to leave your skin moisturized and don't. After long months of never ending winter that left my skin dry, I welcome spring with this wonderful body wash. There's something for everyone in the full line of body wash, bath bars, hand soaps.

I bought the Mango, Ocean, and White tea, I love them!
  • Petal Soft with Pink Peony & Rose Oil
  • Mango Splash with Cocoa Butter
  • Daily Detox with White Clay & Pink Jasmine
  • Soothing Oatmeal with Shea Butter
  • Ocean Therapy with Deep Sea Extracts & Pearl Essence
  • Fruit Peel with Alpha-Hydroxy Fruit Acids

This is what was in my box! Whoo!

Disclosure: I received this Tone Body Wash from Bzzagent for the sole purpose of an honest opinion I did not receive any form of monetary compensation. All opinions are my own.

Karma Wellness Water [Review] : Acia Pomberry

So yesterday at work I was stocking the fridge ( I work at a gas market) and I came across a new product I have never seen or heard of before. It was called Karma Wellness Water. I thought "Hey, what the heck I will try it" it sounded super interesting and the idea of it looked really cool! There are 5 flavors but the one calling to me was Acai Pomberry as I was reading the label I say that it was for Balance The “immunity booster” Lots of Vitamin C and Zinc. Can I just say YUM! So you are supposed to infuse the vitamins into the water your self, which is very cool and fun to do. When I took my first drink I felt a wave of refreshness and a good feeling rush over me. I love this drink and will be buying another at work today. I think I will try the Mango.

And every now and then we bring back our favorite snacks when there's popular demand.

Lets dig in!

Kalenola- Maple Cranberry, I have never herd of kalenola before. I have tried Kale chips and those are good so I was very excited to try this. I tried it on some vanilla yogurt and it was very good it had the kale taste but was sweet because of the cranberry and maple flavor.

Veggie Chips- I love veggie chips! So these were opened right away! Yum! I love them!

Sprouties Sunflower seeds- Yum these tasted just like the should! Delicious sunflower seeds.

Seed and Fruit mix- this was very good, it had sunflower seeds, apples, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and chocolate chips.

Almonds- Yum! oven roasted almonds are always good!

Organic Mashups Squeezable Fruit-  This tasted like apple sauce, it is made from organic fruit purees. Very good.

Noir- this is an organic chocolate bar, I like it tastes similar to other chocolates just more healthy tasting, Perfect to satisfy a chocolate craving.

Veggie Go's- Mountain Berry spinach, Can I just say yum! I love this, it was probably my favorite item in this box. It is a chewy fruit strip and tastes so good!

Rawma Bar- This is an energy bar flavored apple delicious. I didn't try it yet but I am excited to taste this.

Hail Merry- These are macaroons, they are also super yummy. I enjoyed them with a cup of tea, so good they have a very intense coconut flavor, so if you are not a coconut fan I would not recommend these to you.

Snapz- Tomato and Pineapple, These were good, the only thing in them is the fruit itself just dried. I put the tomato on my turkey sandwich, it added such a fresh flavor that made my sandwich the perfect one. I have yet to try the pineapple but I have high hopes.

Hey! I just signed up for http://mbsy.co/healthy-surprise/1226453">Healthy Surprise. They make these boxes of healthy snack food which look amazing! I know you care about your health - and I think this is right up your alley.Cheers!Tabitha

The description for these is: rustic rolled oat flapjack with apple and cinnamon.. They taste like a freshly baked rolled oat cookie. I am not sure how Graze manages to make them taste so fresh.

Dark Rocky Road: Belgian dark chocolate buttons, cranberries and pecans. This was a very sweet dessert snack. Yay for vegan chocolate! it is a very tasty treat! I love it!

Mississippi BBQ Pistachios (Smoked BBQ Pistachios): I love Pistachios so I was very excited to try these! They were very good.

Bonnie Wee Oatbakes- Wholegrain oatbakes with caramelized onion marmalade. This is delicious! You do need to like onions though. The oatbakes by themselves are tasty. These are packed with flavor and hope to receive them again soon.

Bulu Box Review!

So Bulu Box was nice enough to send me a box to review for you! All opinions are my own. I was very excited to try this box, I have heard so many great things about it. above is the picture as soon as I got back to my apartment!

First opening!

Opening the Bulu box I immediately saw information on all the products within! There’s even a My sample Journal Card that lists everything included and asks how you felt before and after. On the other side of the card is the price to buy the item and how much of it you get.

So here is my opinion about the products in the box:

The shake was very good! I had it after class before work is was a perfect little treat! I also tried the watermelon dietary supplement I'm not a huge fan of watermelon flavored products so it wasn't my favorite but my roommate thought it was tasty.

bulu box weight loss review

I heard of Body 360 before on television, so it will be interesting to see if the claims are true!
I tried the Natural Vitality drink before and while I didn’t necessarily feel more calm, it was delicious! These came just in time due to finals being next week!!

This ice was so good it had electrolytes and tasted so good! I had it before my run it was so good I will be buying these in the future!

Not pictured is a $25 gift card to buy a full priced bag at livewell360.com

What can you expect if you sign up for Bulu Box?
This box provides a well-rounded sampling of all health and nutrition products. Each box contains 4 to 5 premium samples plus lifestyle extras like gym gift cards or DVDs from time to time. Every box is a feel good discovery.

Overall: I was very happy to try the new snacks and products.
I like that it is $10 a month.  I like that you can choose month to month subscriptions so you can cancel at anytime and resume at any time.  If you like something you sample you can find it on their website to buy for yourself. Although I did find that most things were cheaper on Amazon.com.
I also like that shipping is always free! I also like that they offer you to earn an easy 50 points ($5) or more each month by reviewing, sharing and completing short surveys. Use your Reward Points to purchase full-size version of the products that work best for you!

Influenster Varsity VoxBox Review!

Influenster, is a company that encourages bloggers, social networkers and “influencers” to join and share their opinions on different products! As an award for your participation, you can qualify to receive VoxBoxes which are filled with different influential products relevant to your lifestyle! As you know, I’m a college student and this Varsity VoxBox was made for us students so Influenster sent me this complimentary Varsity VoxBox to try out the products and review them for you!

As I said, the Varsity Box was created especially for college students with different products perfect for people my age!
IMG_4434

So, I love Tide Pods. I buy these in massive packs at Costco and they are so convenient! You just toss one pack in the wash with your laundry and voila, that’s all there is to it! I was very happy to see this in the box, every college student needs to be using Tide Pods!

I received multiple samples of this Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Wash which was exciting because I got to pass a few of them along to friends :) This face wash makes your skin tingle a little bit while you’re using it which makes your face feel really clean!

These Kiss Nail Dress Decals last up to 10 days and you can put them on your fingers or toes! I did check out some of the other patterns that Kiss has and there are some really cute ones!

Ok, yum. Study snack? Movie snack? Anytime snack? Yeah these were a big hit and I imagine they would be with any college student! These are sour and sweet chews in cute little bite-sized format. Delish!

I was intrigued by this NYC Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss because it’s supposed to plump your lips while you wear it! It applies really nicely and the color is cute too! I’ll have to see if I notice a difference with the fullness of my lips, but regardless I think it looks really nice on.
Verdict: This was a really fun VoxBox and it was definitely perfect for college students! I hope you enjoyed this review and if you’d like to sign up for Influenster, click HERE! It’s totally free and fun too!
Disclosure: This box was complimentary and was sent to me from Influenster in exchange for a review!

Healthy Surprise Review. (YUMMM)

I love exploring different vegan, natural and healthy food and snacks so when Healthy Surprise said they would send me a box I was very excited!  Healthy Surprise snacks are full sized items with the occasional single serving bags. There are three price options: $33 (16-20 servings), $66 (32 to 40 servings), and $99 (50 to 60 servings). The box of snacks is very focused on health and may contain bars, fruit, nuts and seeds, kale chips, raw chocolate, and more.

So lets start off with a little bit about the company:

Each Healthy Surprise box is filled to the brim with delicious, healthy snacks. Every month our snackologists work hard to put together a variety of healthy snacks to form the perfect snack box! We've partnered with the best snack companies in the country and work with them to deliver you a great variety each and every month. Every month you'll receive totally new snacks - we never repeat any snack two months in a row, although we may include different flavors of something we think is really special. And every now and then we bring back our favorite snacks when there's popular demand.

Step 1:  Join - Make the decision to eat healthier and feel better and then choose one of our three healthy boxes. Sign up is quick and just two easy steps.

Step 2: Enjoy & Discover - We send you a box filled with the best snacks on the planet every month. Each box is filled with an assortment of different kinds of snacks including bars, fruit, nuts and seeds, kale chips, raw chocolate and all kinds of other tasty snacks. Each month you'll receive a new and different snack from one of our great snack partners.

Step 3: look and feel great - By eating the best foods on the planet, you'll have more energy and feel better. Since we ship healthy snacks to you automatically, you don't have to do anything but enjoy!

The Goods:

My box waiting to be torn into!!

I love the colors right when you open it, very fresh and bright!

So lets get into the prouducts:

This Alter Eco Dark Almond organic chocolate bar is very large (2.82 oz). Alter Eco is fairly traded and made from cacao beans grown near the Ecuadorian coast. The cacao beans are then sent to Switzerland where they are roasted and crafted into fine chocolate bars. My sister and I have already sampled this, and it is  delicious. It is such a rich chocolate that only a few bites will more than satisfy a sweets craving!

These two products from Hail Merry are great sweet treats. The raw vanilla maple almonds (.88 oz) are sweet but still allow the almond taste to shine through, a great combination!

The Caramel Sea Salt Macaroons (3.5 oz) are going to be a new addiction. These little bite sized cookies are light yet dense, so rich and perfectly flavored, A recipewas also included but the bag was gone before I had a chance to make them.

For when that salty snack craving hits, we have two options: Kale Krunch (Southwestern Ranch flavor, 2.2 oz bag), from Alive & Radiant Foods, is "Nature's Green Supersnack." These don't taste like you'd expect kale to taste, but it's hard to describe. It's a good crunchy snack that will help you avoid those greasy chip cravings.

Plentils (Light Sea Salt flavor, .8 oz) are an item I've sampled previously before.
and I love them! They are crunchy and so good, they give you healthy instead of horrible ingredients, found in regular chips.

The next two things I did not get a picture of because my memory card was full.
The Crunchies brand freeze dried pineapple (9 g, .33 oz) is a winner. This is billed as "Nature's Ultimate Snack Food" and I think it lives up to that. Chewy, pure pineapple taste, and 100 percent natural. Excellent on the go snack.

Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Apples fruit snack is an applesauce in a pouch. This is great for a lunchbox or a supplement to your mid-day meal, in my opinion!

There were three bar inclusions in the box:

The Just Fruit Bar from from Gorge Delights is Apple Raspberry flavor (.40 g) and I would liken this to a fruit rollup for grown ups! Totally natural, and a genuine wonderful fruit taste.

The Rawma Bar from GoPal's Health Foods is Wanut Fig flavor (1.8 oz.) This is an energy bar. I ater this after my hike and it was very good. It did have a little bit of the energy bar after taste butother then that it wasvery good.

The Thunderbird Energetics is described as an "artisan energy bar" which had me immediately intrigued. The company is committed to harnessing the most powerful sources of human fuel and delivering them in a great tasting bar. This one is in "Sweet Lemon Rain Dance" and is handmade and Shaman blessed. These kind of touches are the things I LOVE about a box like Healthy Surprise. I'd never learn about a brand like this on my own, and it's fantastic.

Want to try Healthy Surprise yourself? You won't be disappointed. It is one of the most creatively curated boxes I've ever received and if you're into absolutely the best and purest products that are soy free, gluten free, vegan, and delicious -- give it a try! See their site here: Healthy Surprise

Disclaimer: The company was very nice and helpful. They sent this box to me to review.
